One of the unique things about this outdoor kitchen design in San Jose, CA is that the same material used for the countertop is also used as a type of backsplash, extending as tall as the countertop is deep. This design was chosen not only because it looks modern and sophisticated, but also because the tall backsplash protects the fence from grill splatters. The charcoal gray color around the base of the kitchen complements the speckled black countertop perfectly.
